Soft Contact Lenses
Soft contact lenses are the most commonly prescribed due to the fact that they are extremely
comfortable. Soft contacts are now available in multi focal, for astigmatism and even for
overnight wear. Soft contact lenses include:
- Daily disposable contact lenses – offer exceptional convenience and comfort
- Monthly and biweekly disposable contact lenses
- Astigmatic contact lenses – new advanced toric lens designs now allow us to fit many
people who couldn’t wear contacts before.
- Multifocal / bifocal contact lenses - if you need correction for reading but dislike the idea
of bifocal eyeglasses
- Monovision contact lenses – another alternative for patients needing a reading
prescription
- Extended Wear: can be worn overnight
- Cosmetic colored contact lenses: can change the color of your eyes, even if vision
correction is not needed
Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lenses
Sometimes called “hard” contact lenses, these lenses can offer sharper vision and can correct
severe nearsightedness or astigmatism. At our practice, we offer all types and brands of contact
